Chromakey (green screen) technology has come a long way in the last few years. It's price point has dropped to a point where it is an affordable option for most video shoots.
When a video is shot with a green screen or blue screen as the background, the solid green or blue color can later be removed and replaced with other graphics. These new graphics could be things like a photo, a video, a logo. The possibilities are really endless with a green screen.
Are you wondering why the screen is green or blue? It's because green and blue are the furthest colors away from the human flesh tone, and are easier to separate from the flesh tone then say, tan.
